Henry Levin directs this romantic comedy, “The Mating of Millie” 1948, starring Evelyn Keyes as the protagonist.  Ned Scott captures Ms. Keyes with an enticing expression. Her role is supported by Glenn Ford.  Millie wants desperately to adopt her orphaned neighbor, Tommy, but Millie finds she needs to present a husband for an interview.  Things get crazy from there as a playboy neighbor becomes involved in the hoax.
